Neuromodulators are chemicals that are injected into the facial muscles to reduce the appearance of wrinkles in the upper third of the face including the forehead, glabella (the “11” between the eyes) and on the outer corners of the eyes (crow’s feet). There is minimal down-time and typically takes about 3-7 days to see the results. Each treatment lasts between 3 and 6 months. Microneedling uses very fine needles to create microscopic holes in the skin. This stimulates the body’s natural ability to generate collagen to repair fine lines and even out skin tone. Microneedling is often used in conjunction with stem cell-derived skin products, chemical peels, or platelet-rich plasma to create an even more dramatic result. There is minimal down-time and you will look like you have a mild sunburn lasting upto several hours after the treatment. You can start applying make-up 6 hours post-treatment. Chemical peels are a good alternative to laser treatments in treating uneven skin tone and texture, acne, fine lines and pigmentation. We carry the PCA skin line of peel solutions because they have been time-tested for over 25 years!
